Dispute Management

Dispute Management is an optional feature whereby WorldTracer prefills the Reason for Loss (RL) and Fault Station values in Delayed and Damaged Bag Files based on File Reference Airline Customer Settings so that agents don't need to enter them when they create or close a file.

To activate this feature, your company must ask SITA to set the Use Dispute Management Process to Yes in the Customer Settings screen. The WorldTracer Coordinator then updates the Customer Settings with default Reason for Loss codes.

  • For Delayed Bag Files, only RL codes 70 to 79 are allowed.

  • For Damaged Bag Files, only RL codes 80 to 99 are allowed.

The Coordinator can also select a default type of settlement cost, and enter the default value and currency. This is prefilled when the agent closes a file.

Tip:

The WorldTracer Headquarters agent can use the Manage File Coding transaction to review and update the Reason for Loss and Fault Station codes that have been applied to closed Delayed and Damaged Bag Files .
